At the heart of our Christian faith is love. The scriptures tell us that “God is love”, and everything He does flows to us through His love. God’s love for me and you is unconditional.

Through Jesus, we see the fullest expression of his love, because he suffered for us on the cross and gave His life for us. He loves us so much, and He will meet us wherever we are and transform us by His grace.

As Christians, we are not only to receive God’s love but also to follow His guidance. Jesus commands us to love one another as He has loved us.

Matthew 22:37-39 (ESV)
He said to him, ” You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

This calling on our lives goes beyond our comfort zone. It is a call to love all people, recognizing that every person is created in the image of God and holds great worth.

Compassion is love put into action. When we show compassion, we reflect the heart of Christ. Jesus consistently reached out to the hurting, the broken, the rejected. He would listen, heal, forgive, and serve them. We must follow his example, choosing to be kind rather than judgmental.

Loving others does not mean ignoring the truth, but it does mean leading with grace. It means seeing people not as problems to fix, but as someone to love. It means extending patience and walking alongside them regardless of the issues.

We live in a broken, divided world. When we love as Christ loves, we become a reflection of God. Through compassion and genuine care for all people, we live out our faith and point others toward the hope found in Jesus.

Someone is waiting on us today. Choose to love them. Maybe someone that you have been drawn to, but just not made the step of faith to help them. People need our love, not our judgment. People need someone to genuinely love them. Someone they know loves them.

You can do it. Nothing can stop you when you make the choice to be like Jesus.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8(NKJV)
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, it not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.”

Always remember 1 Corinthians 13: 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
