In a day when there is so much division in the body of Christ regarding doctrinal beliefs, Lean into Jesus Ministries endeavors to draw Christian believers together. Lean into Jesus Ministries is an interdenominational group of ladies focused on serving the spiritual needs of women. The ministry team consists of women from many different Christian denominations and backgrounds. We recognize that we each hold dear our doctrinal beliefs but strive to celebrate and focus on what we have in common – Jesus Christ, our Lord.

The ladies who formed Lean into Jesus Ministries collectively experienced a strong desire to encourage and equip women to walk with Jesus Christ. The team saw a great need for Christian encouragement as women struggle with the demands of everyday life. The team prayerfully sought God’s direction and established the ministry dedicated to nurturing women in their faith in Christ, equipping them to disciple other believers and encouraging them to reach the lost for Christ.

In the fall of 2012, ten women met and began a marvelous journey of obedience and faith. That first meeting established the vision for the ministry. We recognized God’s call and our total dependence on Him for the outcome. We prayerfully pledged to seek His face and obediently follow His direction. At that time, we knew we were to “stand in the gap” for our churches and communities.

We immediately began to pray. We prayed for God’s mercy, grace, and direction. We asked God to bless our families, churches, communities, and country. We prayed for specific needs as well as for general welfare. God called us to our knees; we prayed for His direction. He confirmed our calling and began to add to our numbers as He revealed His plans for Lean into Jesus Ministries.

Lean into Jesus Ministries’ first conference was a day of prayer. “A Day in His Presence” was held on April 20, 2013. Subsequent conferences and Bible Studies include:

Lean into Jesus Ministries’ desires to serve Jesus Christ in obedience and love. Through Bible study, prayer, and worship, we seek to grow in knowledge and faith, reach the lost, and disciple believers.

Scripture promises us in James 4:8: “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” We are anxious to lean in so we may hear all God has to say to us.  And we are confident that He hears every whisper of our hearts.

Lean into Jesus Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) tax-free non-profit.

Lean into Jesus Ministries was organized for the following purposes:

• To participate in religious activities of the Christian faith, including but not limited to teaching, preaching, worship, ministry, and evangelism
• To develop, foster, and promote Christian doctrine and to create a fellowship for furthering the social, moral, and spiritual well-being of the community
• To foster spiritual growth opportunities via a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible study, prayer, and worship
• To effectively encourage personal growth in the Christian faith utilizing Christian conferences and media
