What is your story?  What has God done for you?  From what did He save you?  Has He spared your life from death?  Has He healed your body?  Has He delivered you from bad relationships?  Has He restored your marriage?  Has He delivered your child from a life of addictions?  Has He delivered you from addictions?  Has He provided a new job, new home, car, or even food?

Whatever your story is, someone needs to hear about it.  Someone needs your testimony about the goodness and mercy of God.

We go through trials, tribulations, and victories to help others.  God will always use your testimony to build someone else’s faith to believe God will do it for them.

1 Chronicles 16:8 (ESV) “Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.”

Mark 5:19 (ESV)  “And he did not permit him but said to him, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

Acts 1:8 (ESV)  “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Where is your Jerusalem?  With whom does God want you to share your story?  Sometimes it may be a son, daughter, coworker, or the neighbor next door.  It may be a stranger that you meet at the grocery store.  Whomever it is, God has placed them in your life to encourage with a testimony of His Mercy and Grace.

I have two friends that have lost their husbands recently.  Little did I know that when I experienced the passing of my husband seven years ago, I would be encouraging them and reminding them that God is with them every day and every second of time.  When we are in the midst of the trial, all we can think about is: “can I survive?” When we do, God has a plan that is bigger than us.  He wants us to listen to our hearts and obey what He tells us to do.

Do not keep your story to yourself.  Shine bright and tell the world how awesome your Lord and Savior is no matter what they are experiencing.   Build their faith!  Give them hope!  Remind them they will survive!

Tell your story!  Someone needs to hear it from you!
