“FAITH IS ACTING LIKE IT IS SO, EVEN WHEN IT IS NOT SO, SO THAT IT MIGHT BE SO, SIMPLY BECAUSE GOD SAID SO.”  Tony Evans

Through the pages of Scripture, we realize just how much Jesus wants us to live a life defined by faith instead of fear:

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you.” —Isaiah 41:10 (HCSB)

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
—Luke 12:32 (ERV)

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” —Psalm 27:1 (NRSV)

Do not worry. Learn to pray about everything. Give thanks to God as you ask Him for what you need.” —Philippians 4:6 (NLV)

Through these and other passages, God kindles our spirit toward His steadfast presence. He instills in us a peace that moves us from fear to faith. Instead of being held prisoner by worry and fear, we can move forward and live courageous.

The Live Fearless:

•    Spend time praying and reflecting to cultivate your relationship with Jesus Christ

•    Read the Bible passages that specifically speak to being fearless

•    Infuse your heart and mind in the truth of God’s faithfulness

•    Direct your thoughts toward•    Strengthen relationships as you invite others to come alongside you in encouragement

•    Share your faith and trust with others, talk about the way God has brought you through

I struggled with fear and worry for years. But through time, I began to find that the things that once would have sent me down an anxious spiral, no longer had the same effect. It didn’t happen quickly, but over days, months, years.

My hope and prayer is that you unleash the valiant warrior, living within you, given by God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
