Confusion means being bewildered and unclear in your mind about something going on in your life. It means being distracted, agitated, and lacking clarity.
Have you ever had a situation in your life where you had no idea what to do? Confusion will divide you from God’s truth. If there is no peace in the situations in your life, then it is not from God. Peace is knowing Jesus is carrying you through every situation.
Philippians 4:7 (ESV) “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
This peace excels, goes beyond, and is over the top of any other kind of peace. When seeking this peace, you must believe the Bible’s promises are true and for you in any situation.
Psalm 34:14 (KJV) “Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”
It takes courage to pursue peace. In the midst of storms, where there seems to be no peace around, the waves are crashing in, and you feel you are going to die, you must rise up, be strong, be courageous, and pursue the peace of God.
We need to go to the Word of God and search for His promises, which will give us peace, knowing that God is with us and will never fail us.
You may be battling a severe illness, but know God is the mighty healer. Scripture says in Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV)
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed.”
Believe this scripture for your healing. When the enemy begins to tell you there is no way you will be healed, speak this scripture back to him. Believe it in your heart and never doubt.
Your child may never have surrendered to God, or maybe he/she has walked away from their faith. Scripture says in Isaiah 49:25 (ESV):
“For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save (defend, preserve, rescue, deliver) your children.”
When discouragement comes, and you begin to doubt, speak this scripture to yourself. Say it over and over until you believe they will surrender to Jesus.”
You may have lost your job. Scripture says in Philippians 4:19 (KJV):
“My God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
When fear begins to creep inside your heart, speak this scripture. Know in your heart God is taking care of your every need.
Romans 15:13 (NIV) “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Nothing is impossible with God. We should not fear, doubt, or be confused because God will take care of our every need, and He will bring peace that will pass understanding. Seek peace and pursue it!
